Work and training for young people with SEND
We want every young person to feel inspired and prepared for the world of work, regardless of the special educational need or disability.
There are many places to find information about work experience, apprenticeships and getting a job.
Work and training
The following organisations offer work and training support for young people with SEND:
- Action for Kids (AFK) can help you find paid work if you are disabled, live in London and are aged 18 to 25
- Unity Works can help you gain skills, get qualifications, and find work if you have a learning disability
- get free job training and support from Capital City College Training Academies (CCCT)
- Young talent guarantee provides work or career advice for 16 to 24-year-olds
