How to manage changes in your child's life
Preparing for adulthood is what we call the journey from being a child to being an adult. This can be a confusing time, with lots of questions and not being sure what happens next, however, there is lots of help available:
- your child's social worker from the Children and Young People Disability Service
- the Special Educational Needs and Disability Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)
- the Special Educational Needs Team at Camden Council
- health staff, independent organisations, or peer support
- the Camden Special Parents Forum
