About our Children's Centres and Family Hubs

Logo of Family Hubs Camden

Children’s Centres and Family Hubs offer a wide range of services and support for children and families from pregnancy to age 19, or up to age 25 for those with special educational needs and disability (SEND).

Why our hubs exist

Our hubs make it easy to find information and advice about what's on offer for children, parents and carers in Camden.

We believe that by supporting families and children, we can help improve their long-term health, education and life opportunities. Best of all, they're completely free to use.

What we can help with

The types of support we provide depend on your needs. Some examples include:

  • debt and help with money
  • access to midwife clinics, family health visits and breastfeeding support
  • finding local activity groups
  • after-school clubs and holiday playschemes
  • access to youth support
  • free early education and free childcare
  • mental health and wellbeing
  • family support that can be provided at your home
  • guidance on benefits advice, training, employment, and volunteering opportunities
  • support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • nursery and childcare
  • support for your child’s communication skills

What parents say about our services

“I am so grateful for the wonderful children's services that Camden provides. I have been to Breast Feeding Sessions, Baby Bonding, Baby Play and Toddler Time, and all have been excellent, super helpful and a great way to feel part of the community, make friends, and look at new activities to do with my little one"
