If you're using formula alongside breastfeeding, we’ll guide you on how to maximise your milk supply.

Safe, responsive bottle feeding

If you choose to bottle feed, we can offer information to help you do it as safely and responsively as possible.

Camden Baby Feeding Team drop-in sessions

You can meet other mums, dads and carers at our friendly baby feeding drop-ins.

Sessions take place in Camden Children's Centres & Family Hubs. You can get support from our team and ask any questions you have while you're there.

Online support group

Our baby feeding team also host a regular online support group on Wednesday mornings, from 10 to 11am on Microsoft Teams.

One-to-one support

If you need one-to-one support or are unable to attend a group, we can visit you at home or talk over the phone.

Our phone line is available from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm. If you leave an answer phone message, we aim to respond to you by the next working day.

Starting solid foods

When your baby is 6 months old, you should begin to introduce solid foods. The NHS website has weaning advice and tips. Our Starting Solids sessions can help you adjust and overcome common challenges.

All sessions will need to be booked in advance.

If you need support on a weekend or outside of our team's working hours, call the National Breastfeeding Helpline on 0300 100 0212.

The helpline is open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 4.30pm. You can get support in a range of languages.
