SEND and inclusion service standards
Camden is committed to providing high-quality, tailored services to children and young people. Service standards play a key role in making sure that support is not only effective, but also equitable and consistent across the board. By setting clear expectations and pathways, the SEND and Inclusion service ensures that children and families, along with professionals, can access the services and information they need, when they need them.
What will our standards provide?
- Provide Clear Expectations: Standards outline what is expected from professionals, ensuring that children, young people, and families receive the services and support they need in a timely and appropriate manner. This includes a focus on high-quality services and outcomes that are measurable and appropriate for the child.
- Ensure Fairness and Accountability: By following established standards, Camden can ensure that all children and families are treated fairly, with respect and honesty.
- Co-production: The standards promote collaborative working between children, families, professionals, and agencies. This supports a holistic approach to meeting children and young people’s needs. Every decision and action is driven by the best interests of the child or young person.
- Promote Continuous Improvement: By establishing clear expectations and measurable outcomes, standards create a framework for evaluating the effectiveness of services and identifying areas for improvement. This helps Camden continually improve the support provided to children and families.
Through clear standards, pathways, and rigorous quality assurance, we strive for excellence in everything we do, ensuring strengthened partnership working with families and positive outcomes for children and young people.
