Caring Dads

About this course

Caring Dads is a programme that offers support to men who have harmful relationships with their children or the mothers of their children. These challenges may include:

  • emotional abuse
  • too much control
  • absence from their children's lives
  • hateful, harmful, or high-conflict relationships with the mothers of their children

Some examples of what you will learn include:

  • how men can connect and become fathers
  • how to rebuild trust with children and plan for the future
  • information about child-centred fathering
  • how men can strengthen their relationships with children
  • skills to manage stressful situations in healthy ways
  • how men can improve their relationships with the mothers of their children

Who can attend

Fathers and male carers with children up to 16 years.

When you can attend

Tuesday evenings for 2 hours.
